This series of intimate artworks was inspired by the artist's adjustment into fatherhood. They seek to reflect an undeniable feeling of responsibility to another being that pushes one beyond the bounds of identities bestowed and self-acclaimed. i.e an artist, a recluse, an introvert… etc.
The aim is to spark conversation around how our identities may affect our most valuable relationships and thus, source routes to navigate these complexities.
The use of soil as a medium speaks to a sense of belonging and using any means possible/necessary to achieve a desirable end.
